The House Committee provides year-round support to the Club through the management of the Club House and grounds, scheduling rentals of the property to qualified groups and individuals and ensuring that the logistics of supplies and equipment are arranged.

The season starts with returning the Club House and grounds to ‘active status’, including the Spring Cleaning. This activity occurs usually about 2 weeks prior to the first Club event in mid-May. Subsequently, efforts are directed to ensuring provisioning and maintenance of the Club House during the boating season. At the close of the season, the Club House is secured with a Fall Cleaning party, usually in mid-October, with all aspects being put in ‘hibernation status’ until the next year.

Volunteers are specifically needed for the Spring and Fall cleaning parties and at times during the year to assist with special projects, such as upgrading the BBQ area and installing the new fence this past year, and to assist with rentals, supply issues and cleanliness oversight.

House is a great committee to join to meet other members and have a useful and satisfying contribution of time and skills in maintaining our Club House and grounds.
